FLORENT CHOPIN

 

Artist- lives and works in Paris-Saint-Ouen.

 

Florent CHOPIN was born in France (Normandy) in 1958.

 At the age of seventeen, he started to write poetry and still does.

 He went into academic studies of French literature and sociology at the University in Caen.

 During two years he was a student at the Fine Art school in Caen.

 By himself, Florent Chopin discovered and learned the ancestral techniques of drawing and engraving, and went on to the more contempory approach to the visual imagery.

 He has built his own language using all together the practices of collage, painting, assemblages, three-dimensional objects, engraving and sculpture.

 He did more than thirty individual exhibitions.
